Apple I became one of the first personal computers in the world. It was built based on a 1 MHz MOS 6502 processor. RAM was 4, 8 or 48 KB. Jobs and Wozniak, the founders of Apple Computer, Inc., received interesting offers from customers, but the company’s legendary history began with the following model.
Apple II was first introduced at the West Coast Computer Fair. The power of the computer was the same as that of the Apple I. The machine was capable of reproducing color graphics, sounds (and even connected to a cassette recorder), and also had a built-in programming language BASIC. There were 6 modifications of the Apple II. In total, over 5 million computers were sold worldwide.
Apple III was released in May 1980. It was designed as a business-oriented computer. However, soon after the start of sales, it became clear that the car often overheats and fails. Apple III was a real failure for the company and was discontinued in 1984.
In the early 80s, an innovative Apple Lisa computer was created. It was equipped with security systems, as well as an improved file system. The frequency of the used Motorola 68000 processor was 5 MHz. It cost the car about $ 10,000.

Macintosh Portable is Apple’s first laptop. It was equipped with a long-lived battery and high-quality AMLCD display, but did not enjoy success with buyers. Its main drawback was the bulkiness and, as a result, the complexity of transportation.
eMac (educational Mac) was designed for educational institutions, but later became available to individuals. It was released in April 2002 and was a candy bar with a 17-inch screen. The power range varied from 700 to 1420 MHz with 128-256 MB of RAM.
The famous line of monoblock iMac produced from 1998 to the present day. The first models were similar in power to the eMac, while the latest models are currently equipped with a 3.2 GHz i7 processor. iMac is the main line of Apple home computers.

The Mac Pro desktop computer was first introduced on August 7, 2006. At the moment, is the most powerful “mac”. The latest modification is equipped with two 6-core Intel Xeon processors. The cost of the model is about 170 thousand rubles.
The lineup of Mackbook laptops and ultra-compact Air started in 2006 and 2008, respectively. The power of the enhanced MacBook Pro matches the power of Apple’s home computer of the same year. The classic MacBook is somewhat weaker and smaller than its contemporary. In Air, the emphasis is on compactness, so the power of the car is much less.
